New Savoy Partnership
Per their website, “The New Savoy Partnership is a unique group of organisations working together to bring psychological therapies to the NHS and improve access for all who need them. It comprises professional bodies, charities, service providers and welcomes other partners” and their mission is “to ensure people of all ages and backgrounds who need psychological therapy have appropriate and timely support, delivered by therapists with the right skills, through the NHS. If we succeed, and we can take our place at the heart of today's NHS, we will reduce levels of distress and suffering. We believe better access to psychological therapies will make for a better society.“
SEPI-UK is a member of the Partnership. Other members include, BACP, UKCP, NHS, MIND, BAPCA, Mental Health Network, MHF, BABCP, ACP, and other important organisations. They are sponsoring another conference in November (it’s on our events calendar). Audio recordings of the 2008 conference are available on their site (click here).
